Government Issues New Survey for Arts and Culture Organisations

Survey aims to evaluate the impact the pandemic has had on the arts, culture, heritage and the Gaeltacht.

The Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht has issued a new online survey to evaluate the impact that the Covid-19 pandemic has had on the sectors in its remit. Organisations and individuals involved in the arts, culture and heritage and in the Gaeltacht are asked to respond in order to provide a comprehensive insight to the pandemic’s impact, and to inform the policy response of the department.

The survey, which takes ten minutes to complete, includes questions on the particular sectors, on annual turnover and income, how the pandemic has affected operations and revenue, and how long an organisation can remain viable if revenue continues to reduce.

Those filling out the survey are also given the opportunity to provide additional information. This Friday, 26 June, at 5pm is the deadline.
