The Journal of Music has today (29 Oct 2019) launched a new Reader Reviews section.

Reader Reviews allows readers rate and review concerts and festivals they have attended and help other readers find great musical experiences.

The facility draws on the popular concert listings service that the Journal of Music has had since 2012 and which now contains tens of thousands of events. Last week’s concerts are now open for Reader Reviews.

Commenting on the new facility, Toner Quinn, editor of the Journal of Music, said:

We are conscious of how much work goes into every concert and festival and yet only a small number receive reviews or media attention. The Reader Reviews section aims to draw on readers who can share their thoughts on events they have attended and help other readers find great concerts and artists.

The Reader Reviews section is moderated. The Journal of Music will continue to publish regular long-form reviews of concerts and festivals.
