New Music Venue to Launch in Dublin

Set up by three young entrepreneurs, Anna Gallagher, Ciara Coyne and Shane Masterson, the BelloBar is a new Dublin music venue opening in November. Situated below the Lower Deck Pub at Portobello Harbour, which previously housed a music venue, the BelloBar aims to showcase local and international artists across a ‘wide spectrum of contemporary music’.

The venue seats 80 people and can hold up to 250 standing guests. In addition to a new PA, the venue also features a backline of Gretsch and Orange amps as well as a 24-channel PreSonus digital mixing desk.

One of the venue’s first events is the launch of a new zine titled From Whatnot To Where I Belong. Held on 9 November, the event will include performances by The Late David Turpin, The Journals, Kate Sheehan, BIRDS, KaraKara and Tender Hooks.
