Emma Langford – Sowing Acorns
After releasing a string of singles this year, including ‘Mariana’ and ‘Birdsong’, and EP Sowing Acorns, Limerick singer-songwriter Emma Langford has just released her second album also titled Sowing Acorns. Origin Story – Good Friday
Pianist Greg Felton, bass player Cormac O’Brien and drummer Matthew Jacobson are Dublin jazz trio Origin Story (formerly known as F-JoB), and have announced the release of their second album, Good Friday, out on 15 October. JaXson – Red Lights
Wexford singer-songwriter JaXson’s new single ‘Red Lights’ is his third release of 2020, after ‘Better’ and ‘Moving On’ earlier this year. The new track was inspired by the experience of carrying emotional baggage from early life into adulthood. JaXson will showcase as part of Ireland Music Week next month. Farah Elle – Sunblock
‘Sunblock’ is singer Farah Elle’s debut single, which will feature on her upcoming album Fatima, the release date of which has not yet been announced. Speaking about the song, Farah Elle said ‘the song captures a moment of solitude and reflection, exploring the emotional complexities of choosing joy over sorrow in our day-to-day lives’.
