The Story of Jolyon Jackson on Lyric FM

Radio documentary on 'Hidden Ground' collaborator features Paddy Glackin, Roger Doyle, Brian Masterson and more.

Hidden Ground: The Story of Jolyon Jackson, a radio documentary on the musician, arranger, composer and multi-instrumentalist who died in 1985, will be broadcast on RTÉ Lyric FM this evening (Friday 2 June) at 7pm.

Jackson is perhaps best known today for his 1980 recording with Paddy Glackin, Hidden Ground, which explored Irish traditional fiddle music combined with synthesizers and a range of instruments and electronic sounds. 

Jackson was also a member of the group Supply Demand & Curve

Produced and presented by Peter Curtin, Hidden Ground: The Story of Jolyon Jackson features contributions from Brian Masterson, Sonny Condell, Paul McAteer, Roger Doyle, Philip King, Paddy Glackin and Rosemarie Taylor.
