ConTempo Quartet at the National Concert Hall

ConTempo Quartet perform music from Louth and Meath on 5 June at the National Concert Hall.

The Galway-based ConTempo Quartet will perform a programme of works by Irish composers from the Louth and Meath areas, in addition to works by Concorde director Jane O’Leary and George Crumb, on 5 June at 7.30pm in the Kevin Barry Room of Dublin’s National Concert Hall.

On the programme are premieres by Breifne Holohan, Patrick Connolly, Michael Holohan and David Ernest McCarthy. The Quartet will also perform George Crumb’s 1971 ‘electric string quartet’ Black Angels, and a ConTempo commission from Jane O’Leary, ConTempo Conversations.

Price of admission is €12, €10 concessions.
