Crash Ensemble launch Fund it campaign to support their co-commissioning of a new work from Glenn Branca.
Crash Ensemble have launched a ‘Fund it’ campaign to support their co-commissioning of a new work from renowned American composer Glenn Branca. The work will be premiered in Project Arts Centre on 2 November, and then receive its UK premiere at the 2012 Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival (HCMF) on 18 November.
The target for the campaign is €6,000, with HCMF providing the rest of the commissioning funds. The Fund it page lists the range of rewards available to funders, whilst also providing extensive background information to the campaign.
The above video, featuring Donnacha Dennehy and Kate Ellis, introduces Crash’s campaign, which has a closing date of 30 September.
