The Rolling Wave, part of Music Generation Mayo

Music Generation is an initiative by Music Network, sponsored by U2, to give easy access to music education to children across the country. There are a number of local programmes, co-ordinated from the head office in Dublin, in Cork City, Laois, Louth, Mayo, Sligo and Wicklow. These programmes work with the local VEC to develop music education services in each area.

The Co. Wicklow VEC, together with Music Generation, are now recruiting for the following positions for the next school year, 2012/2013: pre-school music tutors, choral music practitioners/tutors and a panel of instrumental tutors for primary and post-primary, including strings, flute, tin whiste, percussion, guitar, piano and voice teachers.
