The People's United Telepathic Improvisation Front

PUTIF – The People’s United Telepathic Improvisation Front – is the new initiative of Tomomi Adachi and Jennifer Walshe.

Living and working at a distance of hundreds and sometimes thousands of miles from one another, once a week Adachi and Walshe choose a specific time to make an improvisation together. Unable to hear each other normally, they listen and improvise together telepathically, synchronising only their start and end time. Adachi and Walshe each make a recording of their own improvisation and these are mixed together afterwards.

Adachi and Walshe will perform together on 1 September 2013 at 14:00 GMT. They invite anyone to listen telepathically to their improvisation, and send descriptions of what they heard to putifront [at] gmail.com. A link to the mix of the performance will be sent to those who request it.

The schedule for performance is 14:00-14:03 GMT meditation, 14:03-14:13 GMT performance. Adachi will be in Berlin, Walshe will be in London. The performers use the GMT clock on this website: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.co.uk/info/current-time/
