For the second installment in his remix series, SUBSET looked to his native Aotearoa where Paddy Free, Misled Convoy (Mike from Pitch Black), Deep Fried Dub and Shankara NZ, plus the latter's tech alter-ego Weka Tek, answered the call.

The results are stunning: Shankara NZ all deep and heavy; Deep Fried Dub on a drum and bass tip; Paddy Free chilled and immersive; Weka Tek stomping to the dancefloor; Misled Convoy spacious and reductive.

"Having remixed both Pitch Black and Deep Fried Dub in the past, it's great to finally be able to have Paddy, Mike and Ben, and now Brendan, delve into their sound bags and decode five SUBSET remixes, warping the dub in a New Zealand style".

To celebrate the release, SUBSET will be playing in Lyttleton on March 16 and at EarthBeat Festival between March 21-24.
