The singer Lorcán Mac Mathúna has released a special track to mark Oíche Shamhna, or Halloween. In ‘Warp Spasm’, Mac Mathúna sings a text from The Book of Leinster, the medieval manuscript which contains the most complete version of An Táin Bó Cuailgne. According to Mac Mathúna, the song ‘describes Cú Chullain’s famous battle fury where his body distorts and he transforms into a hideous death dealing demon’.
