Scott Flanigan Trio w. Ant Law - Brilliant Corners Jazz Festival

Sunday, 3 March 2019, 7.00pm

Scott Flanigan and Ant Law are two of the most exciting improvisers working today. Joined by prolific Irish musicians Dave Redmond on bass and Stephen Davis on drums, this innovative new quartet reimagines traditional repertoire alongside new commissions by Moving on Music, supported by PRSF.

Scott Flanigan is one of the foremost keyboard players on the Irish jazz scene. He performs regularly across the Europe, and has recently performed with Van Morrison, the Ulster Orchestra, Larry Coryell and Jean Toussaint to name but a few.

Described as “An innovator” and “gamechanger” by The Guardian, British guitarist Ant Law lives in London and leads his own group. His debut Entanglement was released in 2013 to great acclaim, followed by ‘Zero Sum World’ in 2015. They have toured extensively and the third album “Life I Know” was released in November 2018 on Edition Records.
