Dublin Tropical presents the afro-funk musical powerhouse that is the Dublin Afrobeat Ensemble and a host of brilliant DJ’s to keep you in the groove.

Dublin Tropical will gather once again to celebrate our modern multicultural city at the Grand social on the 7th of March. 14-piece Dublin Afrobeat Ensemble will kick start the night with a live performance of their intoxicating blend of power funk and African sounds to celebrate the recent release of their unmissable 4 songs EP “Ájo Arkestra”.

After dipping and diving to their tropical beats, you can continue to tickle your eardrums and move your feet to the sound of skilled turntablists Julien Lebrun (Hot Casa Records / Paris), iZem (Groovalizacion) and Dr Ed. (Sausade Afrobeat) Venezuelan-born VJ Valentina Alvarez will be in control of the live visuals.
