Waltons New School of Music is currently seeking a teacher for our Music for Me early childhood (pre-instrumental) music programme, to start in September 2021. Designed for children aged 3-4, 4-5 and 5-6, Music for Me classes take place on Saturdays at the school. If the successful applicant is also a qualified vocal or instrumental teacher, there may also be opportunities for other teaching with the school, as well as pre-instrumental music teaching for our Outreach Programme.

REQUIREMENTS

Relevant teaching qualifications.
Experience with children’s music education for these age groups.
Ideally, familiarity with Kodály, Dalcroze, Orff and/or other teaching methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
