Assistant Chair, Electronic Production and Design
Berklee College of Music is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Chair of the Electronic Production and Design Department. As one of the leading music technology programs in the world, Electronic Production and Design offers a curriculum that’s grounded in electronic music production, sound design, and programming. The College offers an undergraduate major as well as a Sound Design for Video Games minor, an Electronic Performance minor and an Electronic Digital Instrument Principal. The curriculum is based on the innovative use of technology, informed by practical applications of research in the field that prepares students for a broad range of careers.
The Assistant Chair will serve as an academic and administrative leader of the Department—working under the direction and supervision of the Chair. This is a 12-month administrative position with a renewable contract. The ideal candidate will be a strong musician who uses technology in their music making, with a master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
