Kodály Ireland Solfège Courses at Level 1/2, Level 3 and Level 4
Kodály Ireland are delighted to announce our Solfège courses for the upcoming term.

Course Details
The aim of these courses is to develop each participant's sense of musicianship and to develop musicianship skills such as ear training and the ability to sight-read, all while developing a solid understanding of music theory. Though we normally provide in-person classes, some of the more commonly asked questions about our classes remain very relevant in the online context and are answered on our website:

Course dates
Start: Tuesday 11th October 2022
Midterm break (no class): Tuesday 1st November 2022
Finish: Tuesday 6th December 2022

Class Times
Level 1/2: 7-8pm
Level 3: 7-8pm
Level 4: 8.15-9.15pm

Level descriptors**

Level 1/2: For those who are new to reading music and using solfa, or those who have some experience with music reading and understanding. A great choice for those who are looking to learn something new, or those who have dipped their toe into music and want to develop their foundations of musical understanding. Some familiarity with relative solfa is an advantage here, but not necessary.

Level 3: For those who are comfortable with the use of relative solfa, and/or have a solid grounding with music theory. Perhaps you have previously taken Solfège Classes, or have had some formal training in music (either recently, or many moons ago!)

Level 4: For those who are very comfortable with the use of relative solfa and/or music theory, and those who have had formal training in music. This is a space to push your musical knowledge, skill, and coordination.

**Classes will run subject to enrolment. Spaces are limited.
