Bully’s Acre is an exciting new trio comprising of Peter Browne (accordion), Lucas Gonzales (guitar), and Robbie Harris (percussion) are releasing their debut album ‘The Twelve Pins’ November 27th.

Lucas Gonzalez is an Argentinean musician based in Dublin and he plays both classical and flamenco guitar styles.  Robbie and Lucas used to play in a band called Gato Azul and thought it would be great to bring flamencoesque brio to traditional Irish tunes. They needed a musician that would be comfortable with the rhythmic terrain and to be able to improvise and Peter Browne was top of the list. Bully’s Acre came together in 2013 and played a few gigs in Meeting House Sq and The Village in Dublin and after that decided to record an album.
 
The new album has been recorded and mastered by Brian Masterson, the album consists of some traditional Irish tunes, tunes composed by Lucas and a few improvised pieces.
