The Guildhall School of Music and Drama is looking for an experienced, confident and creative Deputy Head of Development (Engagement) to lead their engagement activity for a range of internal and external stakeholders, including alumni, donors and honorary fellows. The postholder will ensure that the School’s engagement activity complements and enhances their public performance programme and fundraising activity, and seeks to build sustained and effective relationships. 

The successful candidate will have substantial experience of managing posts within a busy development office, of collaborating extensively across an institution and of measuring and demonstrating the impact of engagement activity. Candidates will also have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, experience of events and volunteer management as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
