Iconic Gaelic music star, Allan Macdonald, joins international early Gaelic harpists to present the mesmerizing, aristocratic music of the Highlands.

This concert is part of the HHSI’s international Scoil na gCláirseach—Festival of Early Irish Harp, which takes place 15–21 August at Coláiste Pobail Osraí secondary school, Ormond Rd, Kilkenny, This is the only festival in the world dedicated entirely to the music and traditions of the early Irish harp. The Historical Harp Society of Ireland presents four early-evening concerts in Kilkenny in August with three iconic strands of Gaelic music: early Irish harp, song and Scottish small pipes.
