Learning and Participation Coordinator
The Learning & Participation Co-ordinator will play a vital role in helping to plan the expansion of Oxford Lieder’s educational work and to successfully implement all educational projects to an agreed budget and long-term artistic plan.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working in an educational role in the arts, ideally within the field of classical music
- A strong understanding of how to deliver exceptional projects for people across a wide range of ages and backgrounds
- Good awareness of UK arts organisations leading the field in this area, and current innovations and innovators
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Outstanding communication skills – both orally and in writing
- Good attention to detail and strong IT skills
- Excellent personal organisation and time management
Experience of writing or helping to prepare funding applications would be desirable, as would some knowledge of the song repertoire and language skills. You will also:
- Be able to work in a small but dedicated team
- Ideally be based in or near Oxford
- Be prepared to work long and demanding hours during the Festival itself
- Be enthusiastic, innovative, self-motivated, industrious and resourceful
