Eddi Reader was brought into the limelight with Fairground Attraction and their single ‘Perfect’. From the traditional to the contemporary, Eddi brings to joyous life all forms of song. Constant touring with her band has created a magical organic chemistry between Eddi and her players. Whilst renowned for her technical vocal ability, it is Eddi’s passion and instinct that combine to ensure she connects emotionally with her audience.

Eddi was awarded the MBE in 2006 for services to singing. She has effortlessly developed into one of popular music’s most thrilling and affecting performers. By now a regular visitor to Sligo, we look forward to welcoming Eddi Reader and guests once more to the Hawk’s Well stage. Eddi’s new album, Vagabond, is due to be released on 3 February 2014, featuring her own songs along with songs by Boo Hewerdine, Declan O’Rourke and others.
