The Department of Arts and Humanities is seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Education) in Music, with a specialism in performance, for a one-year fixed-term post (0.5 FTE) starting as soon as possible.

This role includes leadership of our undergraduate modules in performance, leading performance seminars and workshops, and other teaching, lecturing, and project supervision appropriate to the appointee’s expertise.

Applicants will have a first degree in music; hold a PhD in music or be near completion; experience as a professional performer would be desirable. Experience of teaching at undergraduate level is essential, and the ability to teach across musical styles is desirable.
