Culture Night: A Space to Dream

Culture Night: A Space to Dream

Friday, 21 September 2018, 1.00pm

Culture night starts early for the Galway Music Residency with a very special lunchtime event in conjunction with NUI Galway, its long term partner. Together, they will bring you a lunchtime experience of music, song, sculpture and performance on the theme of ‘space’. On the O’Donoghue Centre stage and in the adjacent buildings, the ConTempo Quartet, NUI Galway Staff Singers, NUI Galway Drama and Performance Studies students, and sculptor James Fleming will present an audio-visual show that invites viewers to look to the sky and reimagine the space around them. This free event begins at 1pm and is the perfect way to start culture night!

Supported by NUI Galway (Education Partner), the Arts Council, Galway City and County Councils and GMIT, admission to these events are free, open to all and early arrival is recommended.
