As our new Editor in Penguin Random House Audio, you’ll play a key role in bringing audio publishing to new heights. 

Your day-to-day work will be varied. You’ll be casting actors, working with recording studios and doing detailed editorial work on texts and briefs for readers and studios. You’ll negotiate deals for recordings with US publishers, and you’ll be expected to have your ear to the ground for potential new acquisitions.  You’ll spend time in the studio too, working closely with sound editors to brief production expectations, as well as commissioning sound effects and original music to bring recordings to life.
