Voice

Thursday, 8 March 2018, 1.00pm

Voice is a female a cappella trio who perform repertoire spanning both ages and continents. Formed in 2006, the group’s distinctive sound is driven by individual voices blending together to create beautiful harmonies. Their programme in this opening concert will take the listener on a musical journey from the 12th-century medieval world of Hildegard of Bingen through to the present day with the premiere of ‘Nightfall’ by Carmel Whelan, the winning piece from the South Tipperary Arts Centre’s Young Composer’s Composition Competition. “If close harmony and ecclesiastical music are your thing, you will love what these three singers have created.” (Oxford Mail and Times)

This concert is part of South Tipperary Arts Centre's 'Finding a Voice' concert series.

Tickets: €12 (€6 concession student/senior)
