The BSO seeks an orchestral Stage Manager to work with the Senior Stage Manager on all the activities of the Orchestra and associated ensembles.

Main responsibilities will include transporting, loading and unloading and setting up the orchestra’s instruments and stage equipment. You will have the ability to work as part of a team, using your own initiative and under pressure.

Based in Poole, the role involves a considerable amount of travel, particularly across the South and South West and ideally you will be HGV qualified or have a willingness to gain your licence in order to drive the BSO’s lorry or other vehicles.

Due to the nature of the Orchestra’s work pattern, this role involves evening, weekend and overnight work.
