Artistic Director – Dartington International Summer School & Festival

The Dartington Hall Trust is seeking a successor to build on the achievements of the current Artistic Director, Joanna MacGregor, to grow and lead the Dartington International Summer School & Festival for three years from 2020.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to build on its creative and commercial ambition, and forge a three-year artistic vision for the Summer School & Festival, devising the artistic content for the programme of courses and public concerts within the remit and ethos of the Dartington Hall Trust.

The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of artists and repertoire embracing the whole spectrum of musical experience, a keen interest in other arts forms, a commitment to music education in the broadest sense, an ability to attract new audiences whilst nurturing existing loyal audiences, excellent professional networks, a collaborative working approach and an understanding and experience of the cost-management of courses, concerts and projects.

£20k – 25k per year
Three year, fixed term contract
