Creative Europe Desk Ireland is offering the Culture Moves Europe - Individual Mobility of Artists and Cultural Professionals funding opportunity. This call is designed to provide financial support to individual artists and cultural professionals undertaking mobility projects in other countries.

The funding aims to assist those working in music, literature, architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, visual arts, and performing arts. The primary goal is to enable artists and cultural professionals to develop their careers internationally, fostering cross-border learning and cooperation. Applicants are free to select their international partners and define the scope and objectives of their projects.

Grants are calculated based on project duration and include additional financial support for specific needs such as disability, travel from outermost regions, parental responsibilities, or sustainable travel methods. The initiative emphasises inclusivity and environmental sustainability in mobility projects.

Eligible activities include projects in the stated sectors with objectives to explore, create, learn, or connect. Project durations range from 7 to 60 days for individuals and 7 to 21 days for groups, requiring uninterrupted implementation in the destination country.

The deadline for applications is 31 May 2024. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
