Open Call: Musician-In-Residence

Applications are invited for the Musician-in-Residence Programme at St. John’s Theatre and Arts Centre in Listowel, County Kerry. This role is open exclusively to professional musicians who are residents in Ireland and identify as Autistic/Person with Autism, with a proven record in music performance.

The four-month residency (July to October 2024) offers a €8,000 bursary. Responsibilities include developing creative practices, crafting new works, and engaging in community music activities. A final live concert will conclude the residency. Applicants may visit the Theatre up to 14 days during four scheduled visits. Additional support from the Theatre and Music Network will be available.

Submit applications by 14 May 2024, 12pm. Required documents include a CV (maximum three pages), a detailed proposal (1,000 words or audio equivalent), and up to three audio/video samples of previous work.
