As a member of the Orchestras and Ensembles Team, the Orchestras and Ensembles Librarian leads on all aspects of the running of the Orchestras and Ensembles library as directed by the Head of Orchestras and Ensembles. The postholder liaises with members of the Orchestras and Ensembles and Library Teams to ensure the timely production of all music materials, including accurate orchestrations, for the activities of the department.

The postholder will attend weekly team meetings, chaired by the Head of Orchestras and Ensembles, and will be expected to report in detail about all relevant music materials including those relating to RNCM Opera, Festivals and Learning & Participation activities.
