Eamon graduated in 1998 with a B.Mus from Waterford Institute of Technology and followed that up with a Diploma in Music and Multimedia Technology from Trinity College Dublin. He has recently completed a course in Musical Ensemble direction with Brendan Breslin from the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
Over the last number of years he has established himself as a performer as both piano soloist and as an accomplished accompanist.
Eamon has spent many successful years as Chorus Master for the productions for the Carrick-on-Suir Musical Society, winning a national award for Best Chorus in 2015, and as Musical Director for the Creative Minds Theatre Group and is continuing to work with both groups in 2019.
In 2014, Eamon expanded his portfolio of roles to become Musical Director of the award-winning Belle Voci Ladies’ Choir. He is also a founder and current Musical Director of the UpRoar Rock Chorus, a contemporary choir that performs modern and alternative rock music.
