Irish songwriter and guitarist Ewan Cowley releases his debut solo EP
Marrying a Knopfler-esque melodic touch with a guitar talent akin to James Taylor and Paul Brady, Irish songwriter and composer Ewan Cowley takes his first step into the solo artist’s spotlight presenting The Elevated Life, his debut solo EP.
The collection showcases a maturity of lyric-writing and music-making informed by Cowley’s career as a diversely talented musician with a background in Irish traditional and classical music.
A multi instrumentalist and producer, he guided top Irish band The High Kings through their first years of success. He has collaborated with Eddi Reader, Brian Kennedy, Dónal Lunny and many more, including Lisa Lambe, who appears as guest vocalist on this EP in the radio hit The Thorns From Your Heart.
The EP The Elevated Life is available via Bandcamp and iTunes from Dec 4th, 2016.
