The Avery Fisher Center for Music and Media at New York University is seeking a Music Collections and Reference Assistant. 

Position summary: Provide reference assistance to faculty, student, staff, and other users of the Center for Music and Media’s collections and services. Oversee the Center’s full range of public-service operations at selected times during its weekly schedule, including supervision of student employees. Assist the department head/music librarian by providing background research and clerical support towards the acquisition of new materials for the library’s collections of recorded and printed music. Maintain usage statistics for the department’s collections, facilities, and services. Process requests and returns of the department’s holdings located in its offsite storage facility.
