Made up of a trio - God Knows, MuRli and mynameisjOhn - Rusangano Family, based in Limerick, produce socially engaged music that mixes a variety of cultures and traditions.  They have built up a reputation for high-energy, audience-engaging shows on the national and international live circuit.  Exploring issues such as identity and belonging, Rusangano Family deliver a hefty dose of honest double-edged lyricism over skewed soul samples.  Their debut album ‘Let the Dead Bury the Dead’ was released in 2016 and the Irish Times said: ‘As state of the nation addresses go - it’s quite a belter.’
