Midlands Arts and Cultural Magazine is seeking an enthusiastic Editor.

The Midlands Arts and Culture Magazine is published biannually and is a cooperative project involving the four midland local authority arts offices of Laois, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath.

An enthusiastic editor is required with a knowledge and appreciation of the arts, who will project manage the publication including per issue: the publication cycle, layout, appearance and content of the magazine. The editor will direct the focus of a story or article, enhance the major points, draw attention to places where the audience should focus and eliminate what is non-essential. The editor will be responsible for the quality of content in the publication and ensure that stories are engaging, informative and relevant.
