You will provide administrative support to the BBC Proms and London Performing Groups (BBC Singers, BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra) Learning Team in the implementation of the 2017 Learning programme.

You will be managed by the Senior Learning Manager, BBC Proms and London Performing Groups.

The Ideal Candidate
You will need evidence of proven relevant experience, preferably in an arts organisation with an enthusiasm for classical music.  Experience of administrating large-scale projects and an understanding of learning initiatives and developing a learning strategy is essential.  You will also need to have experience of working with and communicating effectively and persuasively with a wide range of people, especially young people, along with a knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, Child Welfare Acts and all matters relating to child protection.  You will be able to cope under pressure and be happy to work on a wide variety of tasks within deadlines.  You will be required to work long hours and some weekends over the 8 weeks of the proms season.
