ICMP is seeking an experienced and inspiring popular music educator to play an important student-facing role in the leadership, management and delivery of our one-year Pearson HNC Music Performance programme. With two cohorts per year, this programme offers students an intensive programme of study that develops a broad range of technical, creative, and academic skills. The post is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to ICMP through teaching core content, leading the programme into the next stage of its evolution, building on its successes, and working with the programme team to ensure the experience of students is vibrant, memorable and of the highest quality.

The successful candidate will be an experienced musician and teacher with a credible professional/industry profile and evidence of high quality teaching practice. They will demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, the capacity to lead and motivate a dynamic and diverse team, with a track record of engaging with a diverse community of students, and with proven experience in the management and delivery of popular music programmes in further or higher education.
