The English National Opera are offering three emerging BAME directors the opportunity to observe the process of directing an opera. This includes being part of the company from the first day of rehearsals until opening night and also observing how the covers/ understudies are rehearsed. As well as gaining an insight into the day to day workings of a large national company, from stage management and company office to technical and production.

The successful candidates must be fully available for a period of approximately 8 weeks, tied in to the specific dates of a production, during our 2019-2020 season, the period is to be negotiated by the Head of Planning.
