A risky and unprecedented exploration. A triple somersault with a net, in search of the links between free jazz and flamenco.

Sònia Sánchez is pure ancient magnetism. Not only does she fuel the musical event with her heels, she also embodies the intricate language of the instrumentalists and manages to translate to a more intelligible level (more human) what they communicate in a complicated, harsh, maddening language.

Ivo Sans’ musical approach shows that there’s life beyond the huge quantity of jazz in music schools and summer festivals. It’s a discreet, almost underground life but it’s coherent with the mould-breaking essence and free spirit of the best jazz.

Over the course of his long and successful career, the Catalan pianist Agustí Fernández has built up an international reputation, not only as one of Spain’s most outstanding performers, but as a reference in the world of improvised music.

He is professor of improvisation at the Escola Superior de Musica de Cataluña and continues  to perform  at major festivals all over Spain and Europe, as well as composing for dance, theatre, cinema and television.
