Need to Get the Word Out About Your Concert?

How to get your concert included in our weekly Concert Planner.

The Journal of Music has a popular event listings service that lets you add concerts, festivals and more. It means that you will appear in our weekly Concert Planner and email, which goes out on Monday mornings. You can also get into our Twitter feed

To add a concert or festival, register here, or, if you have already registered, log in here and click on Create a Listing.

It’s free to all our readers. Here’s some tips:

1. Add a Soundcloud recording or YouTube/Vimeo video to your listing – let readers hear the music.

2. For a festival or concert tour, use our ‘clone’ option. Create one listing and then click on ‘Clone this listing’ to reproduce it. Change the venue and date for each different concert.

3. Tweet your listing and use our Twitter handle @journalofmusic – we regularly retweet to our 10k+ followers!

4. We always include some readers’ events in our email newsletters, which are sent to subscribers every day. Make sure all your events are uploaded on a regular basis and that they adhere to the guidelines that appear on the ‘Create a Listing’ page. Sign up to our news and jobs emails here.

There is no limit to the number of listings you can add, and the service is free to all our readers. Start here.

If you have any difficulty using the listings service please email info [at] or phone + 353-(0)-86-8241309.
