Hunter's Moon Festival Funding Campaign

Hunter's Moon Festival is seeking contributions for its 2012 edition.

Hunter’s Moon Festival debuted across three days in October 2011 in Leitrim, featuring a range of interesting Irish and international experimental music acts, from Blood Stereo, to Tony Conrad, to Boys of Summer, to United Bible Studies and beyond. It is voluntarily run by ‘musicians, artists and lovers of all things unusual.’

For its second run, which is due to take place in October 2012 and will feature performers such as Jennifer Walshe, Gnod and Melodica Deathship, the festival organisers have begun a wunderfunder campaign. The campaign, it is hoped, will enable the festival to ‘expand and vary the events’ being hosted to include ‘more art, film and workshops’. ‘With funding’, the announcement goes on, the festival ‘can also host more international acts and introduce Irish acts to a bigger audience.’
