With the incumbent Zoe Keers leaving to become a Concerts & Learning Assistant at the BBC Proms, the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland (NYOI) is seeking a new General Manager. The successful applicant will manage all aspects of the orchestra’s organisation, including finances, administration, operations, development and marketing.

The NYOI is looking for someone with arts management experience, experience of managing budgets and a passion for working with young people. The orchestra, comprised of twelve to eighteen year olds, was founded in 1970 and meets twice per year. The next concert programme will feature a programme of Mozart and Shostakovich, conducted by Alan Buribayev, Principal Conductor of the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra.

The closing date for applications is 16 March 2012.
