After its brief introduction to the world at the Gaiety and Sadler’s Wells last year, the Liam Ó Maonlaí - Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre collaboration, Rian, is not surprisingly now starting on an extensive touring phase.

Rehearsals are starting up again next month, and the show will run for two nights (24 and 25 May) as part of the Norfolk and Norwich Festival 2012 before moving on to the Hessisches Staatstheatre in Wiesbaden, Germany, and the Festival Internacional de las Artes de Castilla y Léon in Spain in June. The show is coming back to Ireland for one night at the Eigse arts festival in Carlow on 17 June, and a three day run at the Cork Opera House from 21 – 23 June as part of Cork Midsummer Festival.

Later in the year the show is also travelling to Sweden and then to New York’s Lincoln Centre for its United States debut.
