Thursday, 4 April 2024, 11.55pm

New Music USA is currently inviting applications for the New Music Organization Fund. The fund is aimed at non-profit organizations in the US that frequently collaborate with and foster the growth of music creators and artists, while providing vital resources to their community. The deadline for application submissions is April 4, 2024.

Grants are available to a variety of applicants including non-profit organizations, performance groups, dance entities, festivals, presenters, and venues. These grants are intended to support the sustainability of new music programming, artist development, and other community services.

The evaluation of applications will be based on the artistic quality of the applying organization or the artists they support, the impact on the community of artists and audiences, the immediacy of funding needs, and the organization’s dedication to equity and inclusion.

Funding categories include General Operating Support, Creation of New Work, and Live Music for Dance projects. To be eligible for funding, organizations must be based in the U.S., committed to producing, performing, or commissioning the work of living music creators from the U.S. or its territories. This fund is exclusively for organizations; individual applications are not permitted.
