Orchestral Fellowships: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass

Monday, 29 January 2018, 10.00am

The APO Orchestral Fellowship Programme is funded though the generosity of the William and Lois Manchester Trust. In order to help bridge the gap between tertiary training and the professional orchestral environment, the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra is offering two to three Orchestral Fellowship positions to postgraduate-level string players wishing to take their orchestral performance standards and experience to the next level. Each position offers a stipend of up to NZ$6000, plus a per call payment for each event worked. Each Fellow will be offered a degree of flexibility in tailoring a programme to an expected maximum of 100 calls working with the APO over selected periods of the 2018 season. In addition, Fellows are entitled to up to 12 coaching sessions from leading members of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.
