Sandra Landini
Sandra Landini began musical studies under the guidance of her mother, Vilma Sepe, and got the diploma in piano at the “L. Cherubini” Conservatorium of Music of Florence with full marks and honours. Afterwards she got the II level specialistic biennium of musical discipline in concert domain at the “F. Morlacchi” Conservatorium of Music of Perugia and the biennium of instrumental didactics at the “P. Mascagni” official recognised Musical Institute of Leghorn.  

She improved herself with Orazio Frugoni at the C.I.P.I.M.F of Florence, with Maria Golia at the Romanini Academy of Brescia and with Boris Petrushansky at the International Campus of Sermoneta.

She was the winner of the first prize in numerous national piano contests: in the “P. Naples” of Leghorn, “CDMI” in Genoa, “FIDAPA” of Pisa, “S. Cecilia” of Pompeii, “C. Ligure” of Savona, “800 Festival of Saludecio” in Rimini, “Città Bianca” in Ostuni-Brindisi.. Moreover she was awarded the third absolute prize in the “F. Chopin” International Competition of Rome and in the “F.Liszt” of Lucca, the second one in the “S.Musica” International Competition in Chieti and the first absolute prize in the “P.Harris” International Competition in Verbania-Stresa and in the “W.A Mozart” Competition of Piano Performance in Taranto.

She has given various soloist recitals in Italy: for the “N. Piccinni Foundation” of Bari, at the “City of Castello” Festival of Perugia, at the “Piano Master” in Gravedona – Como, at the “Maruccino Theatre” of Chieti, the S. Filippo Theatre” in Turin, the “Marcello Theatre” in Rome, the “Schubertiadi” and “Chiostro” of Milan, for the “Dino Ciani” Association of Stresa and Verona, the “Italian-French” Association of Genoa, the “Amici della musica” of Bologna and Caltanissetta, the “N. Rota” Association of Brindisi.

Abroad she has performed in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Monaco and Croatia: at the “Gasteig” in Munich, the “Sall der Stadtiniative” and the University of Vienna, for the “Pierre Gianadda Foundation” in Martigny, at the “Realschule Herzogenaurach” in Nuremberg, the National Academy of Lovran (Croatia), the “Theatre des Varietes” in Montecarlo.

She has performed the J. S. Bach’s Concerto for three pianos and orchestra with the “Echos Ensemble” at the Town Theatre” of Alessandria and the F. Chopin’s Concerto No. 1 with the

Philharmonic State Orchestra “J. Dumitrescu” of Rumania at the III European International Festival of Music. She has recorded “C. Debussy” ’s musical excerpts for Paoline’s Editions. She has published for E.T.S Publishers and for Stravinsky Editor Association.

In parallel she carries on an important pedagogical activity as main piano teacher at the “V. Bellini” officially recognised Musical Institute of Catania, the “F. Petrarca” State Musical Lycée of Arezzo, the “G. B. Pergolesi” Conservatorium of Music in Fermo, the “A. Scontrino” Conservatorium of Trapani, the “G. Rossini” Conservatorium of Pesaro.

At present she is the main piano teacher at the “A. Buzzolla” Conservatorium of Adria.

She is frequently invited as member of the Jury in national and international piano contests and her pupils have been awarded prizes in piano competitions
