The BBC Radio 1Xtra 8 week paid internship will give you the chance to work across different shows and departments. You’ll get hands on skills and experience at BBC Radio 1Xtra’s HQ.

The placement period will take place between:
Monday 16th January – Friday 17th March

During your time at 1Xtra, you will work with multiple teams spending blocks of time in different departments. You will take part in meetings and brainstorms and complete a range of duties for production teams prior to and during live shows.

During your time, you will also have a mentor. They will be a senior member of the 1Xtra team who will spend time with you every week to discuss how your placement is going as well as your future plans.
