Irish musician Martin Hayes, together with The Common Ground Ensemble, has announced a UK tour, featuring a headline show at the EartH Theatre in London on 13th October. This follows the launch of their new album, "Peggy’s Dream".

The ensemble features a lineup of musicians spanning various genres such as traditional Irish music, contemporary classical, jazz improvisation and experimental music. These include Cormac McCarthy on piano, Kate Ellis on cello, Kyle Sanna on guitar, and Brian Donnellan on bouzouki/harmonium/concertina, all interweaving their talents with Irish music at its core.

Hayes is the recipient of numerous awards including Musician of the Year from TG4, the Spirit of Ireland award from the Irish Arts Center NY, and the inaugural RTE Folk Awards' Instrumentalist of the Year. He was also granted an Honorary Doctorate of Music from the National University of Ireland Galway.

The UK tour also includes performances in Manchester, Limerick, Newcastle, Bristol, Leeds, Dublin, Castlebar, and Cork.
