The Royal Academy of Music in London is hiring a Legacy Manager

You will develop and lead the Academy’s rapidly expanding legacy programme, cultivating strong relationships with prospects capable of making legacy gifts, generating increased awareness of legacy giving at the Academy and supporting and stewarding existing legacy supporters to ensure retention and lifetime giving. With proven success in legacy fundraising and strong communications skills, you will also inspire and support Development colleagues to talk about legacies with confidence and be a source of specialist information for donors and Academy staff.

You will enjoy using your excellent administration, organisation and prioritisation skills in a busy role and have good knowledge of MS Office and experience of maintaining database systems. It is also essential that you have excellent communication skills and are able to articulate the needs of the Academy to potential donors.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience of working within a professional fundraising environment and you will be familiar with fundraising or marketing through a variety of channels, including events, digital, face to face and direct mail solicitations and comfortable working to ambitious KPIs in preparation for the Academy’s bicentenary.
