The Neighbourhood Grants 2024 programme is open for applications for arts projects or programmes set to take place in 2024 within the Dublin City Council Administrative area. These projects should be initiated by residents, local arts-focused community groups or artists residing in, or interested in working within specific neighbourhoods. A vital component of these projects is the robust collaboration between the artists and local participants. The grants aim to bolster local arts activities, amplify local identity and should resonate with the local community. While the focus can be on specific demographics, such as the youth or elderly, the primary objective is to address culturally diverse and socially inclusive interests. It is essential that the active involvement of the participating groups and a professional artist is demonstrated. The grant value ranges from €2,000 to €10,000, with up to 30% possibly being awarded in kind.
